Ode to M. C. Escher

The Magic of Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) has inspired my work since my mother first exposed me to a book of his prints back in the early 1970's. Ironically she doesn't remember the book but I do! It changed my view of graphic design as a place of exploration and unlimited mystery.

This piece is one of a series done while studying Escher in October 2001. I built a Spinning Slide Show of many from this group. I reduced the original size of the movie to make it easily downloadable.
