I knew Jared when he was a young'un, working at WHAV(AM) in Haverhill. He used to take my Red Sox tickets from time to time. In spite of the pennant fever going on right now, and in spite of the fact that I didn't know him (personally) very well -- my wife I think about him occasionally while all this is going on, and realize that he really would have enjoyed all this. Hopefully, he's watching this from up high....
