Dear Jared,
When I think of the people I have known in my life, who have impacted me greatly, I think of you. Back in the days when we saw each other daily, you taught me the importance of life and family. We met so long ago at Building 19 and you became one of my closest friends. I often look at pictures of those days, you at my house, in my pool, on trips with friends, I remember that every who met you, loved you. During our last conversation, you told me, "do the best you can." Since then, whenever I am stressed or worried, I think of what you have said, and I smile. I have told my son, Thomas, all about you. We look at pictures together sometimes and I teach him that we need to be grateful for what we have and to remember to smile. I tell him that you are watching over every person who you love. Thank you for being a friend. I love you still and miss you often.
