Van Gogh in The City

This is the first study in charcoal I did that crazy election night. While rough, it inspired me to explore the impressionist's view. My long-time friend Rick noted that the full color pastel was more Monet looking than Van Gogh. I clarified my title by showing him this first sketch, which reminded me of Van Gogh and got the ball rolling for me.
